A strong submission usually has: • One image that immediately catches attention • One image that shows your style or point of view • One image that feels emotional, intentional, or memorable • One image that represents the kind of work you want to be known for Your submission should feel like a tiny introduction to your world. And when it comes to your bio or artist statement, keep it honest. You don’t have to sound overly polished or “fancy.” Tell us what you create, why it matters to you, and what story your work is trying to tell. That’s what makes a feature feel personal. Also, a gentle reminder for selected creatives: your feature forms are due Friday at 11:59 pm PST so we can begin putting the issue together.
