Once the magazine is published, it can be viewed online for free. Optional digital downloads and physical copies are available for purchase, but purchasing is never required and does not affect selection or publication.
We do not select specific images—we select photographers. This means if you’re chosen, you’re welcome to submit all of the images you originally applied with, plus any additional work you’d like us to consider.
We highly recommend including a variety of sessions, clients, or models to give your feature depth and diversity. This helps readers connect with your style, storytelling, and overall range as an artist.
Each volume is available digitally and in print. Links are shared on our website and social platforms when released. You can also visit The Archive at any time to view the most recent and past issues.
Yes. Featured artists receive official publication badges and sharing assets after release. If you lost the link or need to be sent your badge again, reach out to us via email, and we’d be happy to get it to you.
Yes. We encourage artists to submit again—each volume is curated independently.
All required information—including your bio, answers, and image uploads—must be submitted through the official intake form. This ensures everything is formatted correctly for publication.
No. Galleries are only used to host your images. It does not support full written features like bios or responses. All written content must be entered directly into the form.
After submitting, you will receive an automatic confirmation email. Please check your inbox as well as spam/junk folders.
If you do not receive a confirmation email within 1 hour, your submission did not go through and must be resubmitted.
If you notice an error, please reach out as soon as possible. Minor corrections may be accommodated before final production, but we cannot guarantee changes once layout begins.
A preview version may be shared prior to final release. Please note that minor errors may still appear in preview copies and will be corrected in the final print and digital versions.
Badges and final publication access are sent once the issue is publicly released (typically on Wednesdays).
Digital access is included with certain purchases (Photographer Bundle, Studio Pack, Collector’s Bundle) or after your first Society membership renewal (30 days). It is not automatically included otherwise.
Absolutely. We encourage you to share your feature and invite other creatives (HMUA, florists, bakers, stylists, etc.) to apply for features like In Her Element.
Tear sheets are not automatically provided. You’re welcome to create your own using the published pages once the issue is released.
Submissions that do not follow directions (missing information, incomplete uploads, or incorrect formatting) may be delayed or not included. Please read all instructions carefully before submitting.
